In Sims Mobile you want to carry on your legacy and to do that you need to have a baby. Babies are a big responsibility and it's not an easy task to have one. Babies are not playable Sims as you can only actively play as adult Sims in the Sims Mobile. Of course, they will eventually grow into kids and then adults and then can become playable Sims. Also once they grow into an adult and then retire they will give an heirloom.
There are certain requirements you need to meet before your Sims can have a baby.
How to have a baby?
The initial requirements needed to have a baby are:
player level 11
relationship level 3 with 3 other Sims. These can be friendly, romantic or enemy relationships.
Once you have met these requirements you will get two new quests 'Oh Baby' and 'Baby Crazy'.
You will then need to purchase a Bassinet in the catalog in the Babies and Kids section. The Bassinet costs S600. You can also buy other baby items if you have the money. You will also need a double bed in the house.
Once you have the Bassinet, click on it and there are three options. You can adopt a boy, a girl or have a baby the natural way. Each action takes 30 minutes and costs 4 Sim Tickets and 3 energy.
If you select 'Have a baby with...' this will make your Sims do the WooHoo action. Whether your Sims have a boy or girl is random with this option and you can not choose. If you select to 'Adopt' you can choose if you have a boy or a girl. There is no WooHoo action with this option and your Sims will just wait in front of the Bassinet for the baby to arrive.
After 30 minutes the new baby will appear in the Bassinet and you can name your baby. You will be able to feed the baby and change their diaper.
Bundle of Joy Event
The Bundle of Joy event is the first event you will get after having your baby and it unlocks the 'Good Upbringing' trait that will make your child better at events once they have grown up.
For Sims fans it seems like forever since EA released the trailer for the new The Sims Mobile game. After patiently waiting 10 months The Sims Mobile is released TODAY!
There was a soft launch and since then there has been numerous updates, upgrades and bug fixes and the game is now ready for us to play.
The Sims Mobile will be released worldwide today, Tuesday 6th March 2018 on Android and iOS. It is expected to go live around 9am PT but it may vary. If you can't find it in the store just keep checking back.
All you Sims fans out there hold on to your hats because Sims Mobile is finally coming! Lovers of the Sims pc game and Sims Freeplay on mobile are in for a treat when the two seem to combine to bring this new game and new experience for Simmers.
The Sims Mobile seems to be offering an experience closer to the PC versions than The Sims Freeplay. The Sims mobile has been developed by EA and Maxis and seems to share a lot in common with the PC version.
