Careers

In Sims Mobile there are seven different careers. Your Sims will need a career to help them earn simoleons, XP, home tickets and unlock different objects within the game.

Each career is available at a different stage of the game as you will have to reach a certain level to build different career locations and unlock different careers.

How to get a job?

Take your Sim to a location on the map.  Each location has different workplaces. Once at a location go in to any career building and tap the Career Workstation.
Once your Sim has a job they will complete Career Events to get promotions and earn Simoleons.

  1. Select the Sim you want to send to work.
  2. Tap the Career icon (briefcase).
  3. Tap the Career workstation.
  4. Tap the Career Event you want to start.
  5. Perform Career actions or use SimCash to make the event go faster.

As your Sim climbs their career ladder, they’ll unlock new Story Chapters and actions as well as cool new items for your workplace and home.

A Sim will complete their work shift on their own but you can speed it up considerably by using their energy to complete tasks.  There are normal tasks and risky tasks. Normal actions increase your Sims confidence and then risky actions will start to pop up. The rewards change depending on how risky the action is.  The riskier the action is the greater the reward if your Sim is successful.  If they are successful they will get a greater reward and their confidence will increase. If they mess up though and are unsuccessful with a risky action they won't get as good as a reward and their confidence will take a dip.

Career Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure your energy is full before you begin an event.
  • Use a cupcake to refill your Sims energy.
  • Take your Sim home to use the toilet, shower or bed to give more energy.
  • Buy new items to unlock new actions.
  • Ensure the chances of success when doing a risky action is high.
